Formula 1000 Rally Club will shortly been seen on Sky and Digital TV! Dave Winstanley who hosts Out of Control on Men & Motors has been following Formula 1000 Rally Challenges very closely and has now complied a video to be screened on Sky and Digital. Dates yet to be confirmed. You can't get much better than being on the TV, for free and on one of the most popular channels in the UK.
"F1000 is something that rallying has needed for many years. It offers a wonderfully economic way to get involved with the sport and is a perfect starting point for young drivers with more than enough speed to keep them interested!"
Best wishes
David Winstanley

Membership
At the end of January the Club had around seventy members registered, with around twenty five of the being new to the Club. It looks as though we will grow by some considerably size compared to last year when we had an annual total of eighty five members. We now have new members from all over the country, as far as Sussex in the south and Perth, Scotland! [top]
Merchandise
Formula 1000 Rally Club wants to aim much higher this year, and at the very least, set ourselves up for a fantastic year next year! Achievement comes through loyal support and funds. Although we have sponsorship it does not cover the amount required to accomplish all that we wish to do. So what's that? We want to give our members more support in the form of training, testing etc. We want to bring on Young Drivers, and hopefully start their career through us!
We already have a clothing range with various items for sale, please email Marcia Rogers for more details (Merchandise section coming soon). Above and to your right, you will see a fantastic polished key-ring bearing our logo. For £3.50 they are a real treat. You can buy any items at rally venues or choose postal paying by cheque. Cheques must clear before shipment of item(s).
Currently the Committee are looking at other merchandising avenues for items either for sale to members and/or the public, and also for promotional days and advertising. [top]

We thought that the date being the same as the Gareth Hall Memorial Rally may be a problem as some of our members were competing however Stephen Prince thought otherwise and showed remarkable commitment, turning up for the awards presentation then dashing off to compete on the rally!
Apart from the usual Dodd duo presenting... [read more]
